Dear colleagues

We are pleased to announce the 5th Croatian Congress of Pharmacology and 2nd Congress of Croatian Physiological Society, with international participation, scheduled for September 19-22, 2007.

The Congress will be held in Osijek - economical, cultural and educational center of Slavonia and Baranja County, Croatian region with about 1 million inhabitants. The Congress will be opened to scientists, as well as professionals in the field of pharmacology and physiology and related biomedical disciplines. The professional chambers will accredit attendance at the Congress for participants from Croatia.

The Congress should be equally stimulating for senior scientists, professionals, young researchers and PhD candidates / postgraduate students. The scientific program will be composed of both, basic and clinical symposia carefully selected to focus on issues of broad interest within the fields of pharmacology and physiology.

Prominent scientists from Croatia and abroad will be included in symposia, as lecturers. Also, the Congress will be opened for poster presentations. We invite all of you, who wish to present your research work in the fields of basic/clinical pharmacology and related disciplines, to attend the Congress and share your accomplishments.

Deadline changes for Submission of Full Paper

Osijek - 23. 10. 2007.
Authors who intend to submit full papers (for the special issue of Periodicum Biologorum), should submit the manuscript by November 17, 2007. The specific instructions to authors are published by the journal Periodicum Biologorum.

The Scientific Committee of the Congress will review submitted abstracts. Additional activities, like promotions of drugs, books and scientific equipment are welcome.
The Organizing Committee especially invites the members of both, Croatian Pharmacological Society and Croatian Physiological Society, to activly participate in the Congress preparation by organizing symposia and/or additional activities.
